There seems to be a current collection of people who are cutting and pasting entire sections of text from the IOH website into Wikipedia articles. The text is typically a word for word copy with no changes. I see this a copyright infringement as Wikipeida is for original works, not simply mirroring material from another source. Adding an external link to IOH is fine, but blatantly copying entire pages of IOH text, then posting it as an article, is not acceptable per Wiki guidelines. This can lead to all kinds of difficulties, not the least of which is an article labeled as a copyright infringement and deleted. I encourage people to cease this "cut and paste" activity. - Husnock 06:01, 11 October 2005 (UTC)
The image of the IOH's coat of arms has an error. The sinister banner (the one with the Tudor rose) is supposed to be fringed in Or and Gules. The IOH's website confirms this: http://www.tioh.hqda.pentagon.mil/TIOH/TIOH_coat.aspx.
I'd fix it myself, but I have no idea how to go about graphics editing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 152.120.255.251 ( talk) 18:47, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Is not the proper name for this organization The Institute of Heraldry? (with a "the" and without the "United States Army." Seems to me the redirect is backwards and I see no discussion of it here.
I am in search of the 23rd Infantry Regiment embroidered shoulder patch. If you know a source, please let me know how to contact.....Jim Kopp, 3774 Brown Owl Court, Marietta, GA 30062 PH 678 409-0632.

Per the notice from the United States Army Center of Military History [1], the website has been down since July 25th. I recommend not editing the website links until a confirmed change has occurred. -- 216.46.173.36 ( talk) 18:11, 6 October 2018 (UTC)
The article says the TIOH's own arms has a "scroll Or lined Sable". I assume "lined" refers to the reverse side? But the picture on the article has gules on the reverse. 185.120.125.29 ( talk) 23:17, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
