Keep The article is already too long to be merged with the main HO article, and will only get longer. -- Dtcdthingy 00:56, 1 August 2005 (UTC)
Lose The UK section in the HO article is much more informative than this article. I would update the other article and expand it if necessary. Frelke 17:37, 7 September 2005 (UTC)
As of October 2011, Rear Admiral Ian Moncrieff has taken over as CEO from Mike Robinson. The best publically-available cite I can find is this one http://www.ukho.gov.uk/Media/Press%20Release/Press-Release-UKHO-Chief-Executive-to-step-down.pdf, but I'm not sure how to set up the reference links. There seems to have been a bit of an edit war going on about the legacy of the previous CEO (Mike Robinson), with him being described variously as "leaving", "leaving after five successful years" (apparently added by Robinson himself), "leaving unexpectedly", and various joke reasons being given as well ("not using Button Moon DVDs in his office"). I have reverted to the original, neutral description of just "leaving". I've also updated the reference (previously it was a (broken) link refering to Robinson's appointment. A sourced claim at this page says the earliest hydrographer was in the 17th century and not the guy listed here. Who needs correction? — LlywelynII 02:43, 3 August 2014 (UTC)
