We ought not forget that the 'lying press'actually existed during WW2. After numerous instances when the British press wrote that Hitler was antagonistic to Britain, Hitler wrote a letter to Lord Rothermere that stated he had made 4,000 to 5,000 speeches and in them had neither written nor spoken one word against Britain or its interests. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.129.96.190 ( talk) 06:24, 18 August 2016 (UTC) |

If luegenpresse is considered offensive, does a better word exist to describe the media when it promotes lies? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.129.96.100 ( talk) 21:23, 24 October 2016 (UTC) |
Although this is a direct translation of the word, and the criticism could be widened to include the term HR, it is not what "Menschenmaterial" is or was used for and which was critizised. In German the term does not refer to the work force as such. Therefore maybe HR should be de-linked? -- 131.169.89.168 ( talk) 12:31, 19 July 2019 (UTC)
