'Lost Popularity'

I am not a familiar enough with wikipedia to make an edit to the page, but I would like to at least pose the question on the talk page for this passage: "It lost popularity after it was adopted by a political organization." I would like to question its inclusion on the basis of there being no citation. I happen to have paid close attention to the events of the war in the Donbass up to the current Russo-Ukraine war, and therefore watched a lot of video footage available on the internet, and I to this day regularly hear Russian soldiers use the term "ukrop" to describe Ukrainian soldiers. There is evidence of this available on YouTube, in Maxim Fedeev's combat documentaries. I do not personally speak Russian, but I have heard the word enough to wonder what it meant, so to me that implies that it is at least somewhat popular with people involved in the fighting. 107.179.240.36 ( talk) 01:33, 19 August 2023 (UTC) reply

I think it means it fell out of popularity as an ironic term among Ukrainians. HappyWith ( talk) 22:04, 7 December 2023 (UTC) reply
