Finnish Ukrainians → Ukrainians in Finland – erroneous name because "Finnish Ukrainians" refers to Finns in Ukraine. The correct name would be " Ukrainian Finns", but, since most related articles are named "Ukrainians in x" (see articles in e.g. Category:Ukrainian diaspora by country), "Ukrainians in Finland" seems to be better name. 2001:14BA:9CDE:AF00:B95C:DED4:4C97:8081 ( talk) 22:18, 3 June 2023 (UTC)
- Weak oppose - You are incorrect about it needing to be "Ukrainian Finns", as that is not what is generally used on Wikipedia. For example British Chinese refers to Chinese people in Britain. Similarly, Finnish Ukrainians refers to Ukrainians in Finland. aaronneallucas ( talk) 16:10, 4 June 2023 (UTC)
- Support: oh wow, the page currently has the phrases "Finnish Ukrainians", "Ukrainian Finns" and "Ukrainians in Finland" in bold as soon as you open it. This is a headache. Move to "Ukrainians in Finland" seems best to me as it matches existing pages and is unambiguous. The point about British Chinese is an interesting one, but the article seems to be named that way primarily because this is an existing term in the United Kingdom, not because it's policy. Contra nominator there is no rule in English about which order to mash demonyms together; it's a WP:ENGVAR issue.
