idea for "redirect" page

In order for a link (" UW-IMAP") - (such as the one from http://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Mark_Crispin&oldid=3330946 ) to not be a "red" link, there could be a page at UW-IMAP to simply do a redirect to this article (" UW_IMAP"). (right?) I think I can see how to do that (technically), by looking at some other examples on WP:wikipedia. However, before I do that, I feel uncertain about what kind of / what extent of, ( Wikipedia:Consensus) is needed (or "recommended") first.

Any advice? thanks, -- Mike Schwartz ( talk) 16:15, 1 May 2009 (UTC) reply
