It says "For other ships of the same name, see USS Ulysses S. Grant." But that just leads straight back to the same article.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.254.163.150 ( talk) 01:09, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
I would like to bring your attention to the class of submarine that you have the Grant listed under, I was stationed on the Grant in the 90's just before decommissioning, the SSBN-631 was not a Madison class sub it is a LAFAYETTE class submarine and the 14th to be commissioned to that class please correct amend this! sources, http://navysite.de/ssbn/ssbn631.htm http://www.navsource.org/archives/08/08631.htm — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cowboy124aa ( talk • contribs) 10:09, 29 November 2013 (UTC) The Lafayette Class did not have the upgraded A-3 missiles in it they were the A-2 missiles which is what distinguishes the Lafayette from the Madison class sub. Each sub that had the upgrade was reclassified to the Madison class. But all the subs designs looks and size were all similar to each other, with the exception of the ballistic missile upgrade! Her last patrol set out from Holy Lock Scotland, through the Mediterranean with a stop off in France and then Home before setting out to Norfolk, navel yard for disarmament and then off to Bremerton Washington to be decommisioned! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cowboy124aa ( talk • contribs) 03:12, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
