Hello, on the USS Hardhead SS 365 page it states that the Hardhead had 4 Fairbanks diesel engines. I was an Engineman 2nd class on the Hardhead from 1968-1971 and I can guarantee that she did NOT have Fairbanks Morse engines. Originally she had 4 General Motors Model 16-278A engines, they later removed the #2 engine to make room for A/C and other equipment. Thank You,
