The original DANFS entry actually described the events of 5 January 1943 as involving "survivors of a crashed B-2." I have a hard time believing a Curtiss B-2 Condor was involved, tho perhaps a Northrop B-2 Spirit will have flown thru a time-warp.... I've guessed that it would have been a B-25 Mitchell, but I can't confirm it. Can anybody help? -- the Epopt 17:30, 11 Feb 2004 (UTC)
It has been said elsewhere that the Japanese Navy did not use convoy tactics. The Grayback article indicates that the Japanese did use such tactics at least on a small scale.
