Kita

I removed the link to "Kita" because it doesn't appear to be linked to the correct topic. The text is ambiguous; does the comma mean that Kita is a place on Ioto? The island is only 8 square miles, so I can't imagine that's true. Is it meant to be a short list, then? The ship bombed Ioto and then also Kita, where Kita might have meant Kitanojima (北ノ島) island? -- Mikeblas 22:03, 18 June 2006 (UTC) reply

DANFS added commas. The island in question was/is known as Kita-Iwō-jima, more properly Kita-Io-jima as there is no "w" in the name in Japanese usage. Palmeira ( talk) 22:31, 21 June 2013 (UTC) reply
