I was under the impression that it's currently unlikely to ever be merged into the kernel. According to kerneltrap, Nigel currently has no intention of getting the patches merged into the vanilla kernel. John Reed Riley 01:27, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
The first two sentences of the article are unclear about what was forked from what. Pavel got "it" merged -- what is "it"? Is swsusp/suspend2 the main branch or the fork? Please could someone kindly correct this?
The sentence "At the present, Nigel is busy with other tasks and is not focussing on getting the code merged" is not encyclopedic. What is the present? Please could someone change it to "As of <year>", or somesuch. 77.98.6.200
Also, I think it's particularly bad that we refer to the main developers by the first name instead of their last name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.72.128.229 ( talk) 18:43, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
