It may just be me, but it seems this article represents two distinct concepts - turrets on buildings and turrets on modern fighting vehicles - and may benefit from a split. -- MaxBrains 21:38, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
I didn't see a page describing the use of the term in the context of a lens selector. The idea also appears in material handling systems such as conveyors and dispensers. Neither Turret nor Gun turret mention this usage. SpareSimian 18:49, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Under the series of images in Gallery, the writing such as: "In the middle ages, it served as an administrative and religious center." looks having problem with paragraph spacing? I don't know how to fix it. Charon77 ( talk) 17:16, 20 December 2011 (UTC)

– I'm not sure if there is a primary topic here, but if there is, it would be gun turret. The architectural turret gets less than half as many views as all other potential targets combined. Combined page views of "gun turret" and missile turret (they should be merged, imo) are twice as many views as the former. Page views Tank vs. water tank is the nearest comparison I can think of.
