Is the river actually a nullah? Like the "lower course" of the Shing Mun River, the Tuen Mun River is actually the leftover of the former Castle Peak Bay, isn't it? — Insta ntnood 21:02, 15 January 2006 (UTC) reply

The river exists before the reclamation. The mouth of the river was between Tuen Mun San Hui and Yeung Siu Hang. The river was originally curved near the mouth and has been straigthen when developing new town.

Alright.. so it's a paved natural river, plus an artificial nullah which is the leftover of the bay, am I right? Was the natural river named 屯門河? Did it have any other name(s)? — Insta ntnood 19:51, 17 January 2006 (UTC) reply
It is somewhat like Lam Tsuen River and Shing Mun River. Many parts of river became aritifical. The centamap names its lower section as Tuen Mun River Channel. What do you think about it? Moreover, it is not hard to find 屯門河 from Google, with 7,380 returned.
