Add Chief Mouser?

it has been suggested that the downing street mousers be added to all wikipedia pages for ministries they were present for. since this is the current ministry, i have started this discussion on whether or not to add the mouser here 2A00:23C6:5397:B501:CA04:5422:13B4:24E3 ( talk) 19:42, 8 October 2022 (UTC) reply

I propose that List of departures from the Truss ministry (  | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) be merged into this article. As it is a short list and Truss has already resigned, there is no need for a separate list. -- 65.92.247.226 ( talk) 15:34, 20 October 2022 (UTC) reply

Comment needing clarification?

The opening of the article correctly says that Liz Truss' resignation announcement made "her tenure the shortest in British history". While her time as Prime Minister is the shortest (as two cases were a Prime Minister - William Pulteney, 1st Earl of Bath in 1746 and James Waldegrave, 2nd Earl Waldegrave in 1757 - was appointed for a matter of days, but failed to form a government are generally not considered to have been actual premierships - see List of prime ministers of the United Kingdom by length of tenure), it might be worth noting here that this is not the shortest ministry in history. Even assuming Bath's two day Short-lived ministry is ignored for the reasons stated earlier , the Wellington caretaker ministry, at less than a month in 1834, was shorter. I wonder if this should be pointed out clearly in the article? Dunarc ( talk) 21:53, 31 October 2022 (UTC) reply
