Technical?

I'm not sure if we should keep it too arid and technical, but a phrase such as "Despite the resemblance, they were not true spiders." is too much baby talk for me. After all, a few lines below the relation with the Tetrapulmonata, which include the spiders, is mentioned. Should we always add such basic/simplified things for the sake of school children?
