Sorry But Due to me not preparing photographic equipment before my visit I simply used my o2 XDA. But at least I tried not like some people who would just steal an image off another website! Djmckee1 - Talk 19:18, 18 July 2007 (UTC) reply

Control Room

The underground control room has nothing to do with the airfield. From the pictures it looks to be a R.O.C. Post. Exrocman ( talk) 04:42, 8 November 2008 (UTC) reply

Yes you are correct, this is definitly a ROC Post, used for observation during the cold war and would have been used to measure bomb blasts etr. if britian was hit by a nuclear weapon. http://www.subbrit.org.uk/rsg/roc/db/988178727.html it's probably this one as this is the only one in the area of the airfield, and the picture on the Wiki page shows it to have a Torlift hatch which the picture on Subbrit also shows it to have a Torlift hatch ( talk) 04:45, 19 January 2012 (UTC) reply
