Output limit

Is there a limit to the power output of a transmitter. LED lights burn out after too much electrical current. Does a transmitter do the same thing?-- Wyn.junior ( talk) 00:18, 15 March 2014 (UTC) reply

Transmitter grit

I am very interested in testing the output limits via electric currents with transmitters and receivers.-- Wyn.junior ( talk) 22:51, 15 March 2014 (UTC) reply

ERP vs TTPO:

Maybe it's me, but as I read this stub it says that TPO is > ERP. I thought most broadcasting antennas have a gain so a 1K transmitter with a 5db gain would have an ERP of 5K?

I don't know this as a fact, but I'd appreciate it if someone with knowledge could jump in and clarify this point.
