The term "Tooting Junction" is used locally to distinguish both the station and the geographical area from Tooting Broadway. The Station building and platforms are actually just within the London Borough of Merton and thus lie on the borders of Tooting and North Mitcham. Splinge ( talk) 00:26, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
