How come there's more of an article for Herschel Walker than for Tony Dorsett? Tony is up much higher on the all-time rushing list. -Amit
Tony Dorsett was ranked #77 on the NFL Channel's The Top 100 Greatest Players.(2010). Presenter: Roger Staubach. Cjstanonis ( talk) 19:22, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
Surname Pronunciation I was hoping to find a reference to the pronunciation of his surname. I recall it changing from DORsett to dorSETT when he moved from college to the NFL. I found an article that discusses this here: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1125074/ "...changed the pronunciation of his name from DOR-sett to Dor-SETT (which is how a buddy said they said it in France)..."

Tony Dorsett and Roger Staubach were Heisman winners who played in the same backfield before Campbell and Rogers. I’m pretty sure they were the first. Tpayne12 ( talk) 12:34, 15 May 2024 (UTC)
