Since this comes up occasionally, I thought I'd put this note here for future reference. Audra McDonald did NOT win any Tonys for Lead Actress in a Musical. She won:

For the record: On Feb 25, 2009, IP 98.111.169.99 changed the number of nominations for Rebecca Luker, Marin Mazzie, Audra McDonald and Kelli O'Hara. I have changed these back to the way they were. They each have 2 nominations in this particular category (see, for example, [1]). The confusion may lie in a too-quick reading of the Tony Award information, where FEATURED and LEAD may be misread; also, in Audra's case, she has been nominated, and won, in another category: Featured Actress in a PLAY. I am sorry for moving the article without first discussing about it here. I just felt the previous name was too long and it's usually refereed to by this name. I tried to undo it but it was too late.-- JDDJS ( talk) 18:55, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
