Can we discuss why the neutrality of this article was raised in 2014?
Tom Paxton obviously had leftist views. Is the idea that this article is speaking from that voice?
A bit of the tone of the article is quite congratulatory of him. Is that the issue?
Tom Paxton is a giant of the American folk scene, and his songwriting alone makes him noteworthy. I'm gonna try to sharpen up the encyclopedic language of the article.
