I have corrected your identification of me again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.230.32.16 ( talk • contribs)
Explainations of Feb 3/07 edits from Tom Harris: I have corrected some of the info (see High Park Group's site for a definition of their activities, which I have used verbattim - I understand they are registered with the Lobby Registration because I imagine they must do some lobbying as part of their work, but they are not a lobbying group per say - I was never involved in lobbying when I was there). I object to the term climate change skeptic or climate denier since I always say climate is changing (as it always has) and the result could very well be catastrophic for some people in some locations. My point is that human emissions of CO2 are not likely a significant global climate driver (although some human factors are, such as land use change) in comparison with natural causes. At NRSP, we advocate helping our most vulnerable citizens adapt to climate change and continuing the research to better understand this, the most complex science ever tackled.
Any problems with this? Please don't just revert out of spite but tell us what parts of what I added you think incorrect and why.
Looking at the content of the edits, I suspect User:TomHarrisNRSP is not really Tom Harris. But, if not, he shouldn't use a misleading username. And if, so, of course, he shouldn't be editing in this way. Regardless, I've cleaned up the article, sourced the Astroturfing claim and so on. JQ
I have a YouTube video of Tom Harris's call for "information sharing" and "coordinated local activism". If anyone thinks this should be an external link in the article, please add it in! Bi ( talk) 19:05, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
