The German empire used the style for its governors during certain periods in the history of its rule over the following Schutzgebiete:
As with the other former German colonies, the coat of arms is incorrect and was never used. These were suggested but never implemented. This should really be changed . . .

Should either of the flags below (on commons) whch are listed as the flags of Togoland be used in the article? Brigade Piron ( talk) 13:33, 23 November 2013 (UTC)
