I have nominated this article for deletion. Tito is even less notable than Joe the Plumber and the content for the article is pretty slim. Participate in the discussion here: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tito Munoz. -- Amwestover ( talk| contrib) 01:35, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
I don't know if I would encourage total deletion. I think that our man Tito here may be a good footnte in the campaign articles about the 2008 election, so worst case I would encourage his story to be attached to a relevant article to the election. 65.160.229.33 ( talk) 19:17, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
I've taken the liberty of stripping sources from this article, as many of them were blogs, opinion, or "political analysis," and thus not appropriate for a BLP: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]
This one doesn't mention Tito at all, and links to an article you have to pay for: [8]
I did add an AP story about him introducing Palin, but that leaves a grand total of three sources, and honestly the other two aren't all that solid, in my opinion. Regards. FangedFaerie ( Talk | Edits) 23:33, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
"Earlier this week I wrote about the now-famous Tito the Builder and his confrontation with reporters at a McCain rally in Woodbridge, Virginia. I also wrote about Connie, the Caribbean immigrant who's a strong supporter of Joe the Plumber. And yesterday, I introduced you to another man at the rally, Greg Medina, whose 20 year-old son Brian died in the battle of Fallujah. Now, Will Rabbe of Independent Film Channel has posted a video of the day's events, in which you'll be able to see Tito and Connie (you can't miss them) and Medina (he's the man in the brown jacket) in action, along with a look at the inimitable journalistic style of Mother Jones' David Corn."
[video] There’s a rousing cheer coming out of Colombia for Tito the Builder, CFP’s sister publication, Bogota Free Planet reports today. That rousing cheer is “Viva Tito!” Tito the Builder, now running his own construction company in the US, is Colombian born. Characteristically Colombian, Tito the Builder, told Alan Colms of Hannity & Colmes, that he got involved in the presidential race by going out and giving the newspapers “hiding the truth about Obama a piece of my mind”.
It has been noted in the Afd discussion, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tito Munoz that this article should be renamed as, "Tito the Builder." Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks. Ism schism ( talk) 21:18, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
