Hi there. I am confused to why information on the Tingalpa Olympic Bid keeps being reverted. One editor calls it a 'frivolous' joke, despite the fact that credible references exist as to its truth value. Whether one might think the bid is a frivolous joke, or not, is irrelevant. It is a fact and there are sources to prove it. Darragh ( talk) 08:57, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
what is a "rap population"? relocating here pending clarification: clarkk 14:03, 26 May 2005 (UTC)
This article's information value appears minimal, at best, and does not reflect general demographics or characteristics of the suburb. At least with some context or further information, the current content could be better understood. The assertions made have not been appropriately referenced. This is in need of a substantial clean-up to meet Wikipedia standards. Yak Lord 12:58, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
When I went to Tingalpa State School in the 1970s, the teachers told us 'Tingalpa' is an aboriginal word meaning 'place of the fat kangaroo'. I cannot verify this elsewhere, however. badings 6:27PM 12 July 2015 — Preceding undated comment added 08:27, 12 July 2015 (UTC)
