42 days as a major general

Authoritative sources confirm Haugh served only 42 days as a major general. The Congressional Record shows DoD nominated him on April 1, 2019 as a brigadier general to serve as a major general and the senate confirmed him on April 29. He pinned his second star on August 30, ten days before the Congressional Record incorrectly identified him on September 9 as a brigadier general nominated to serve as a lieutenant general. The senate confirmed him on September 26 and he pinned his third star on October 11. Rob Rosenberger ( talk) 01:51, 10 August 2021 (UTC) reply
