Reference spot checks
Many, many paywalled sources that I can't see, so AGF, I'm looking at ones that I can check.
1 - Can't find "Local sculptors expressed disappointment about giving the project to Mansudae" from source 1. Maybe I missed it? Source 2 does support the statement.
3 - Pass
5 - Medium is not considered a reliable source, and while you explained that it is okay in this case, what makes the author's writing reliable when he is a student that has resided in Botswana for a small period? (edit:citation replaced, assessing it later)
7 - Pass
Plagiarism check - cleared (used an alternative as earwig is useless as of now.)

AlphaBetaGamma: Batswana is not a typo, it is the plural of a Motswana person. (Motswana is the name given to a person from Botswana) and I have rephrased "The political" to "[Botswana's] political" to make more sense.

48JCL, As the backlog for the review requests are building up rapidly, it doesn't seem to be getting dealt with soon. I'm going the pass this and have someone see it later. Had fun reading this article as well.

Hi
AlphaBetaGamma, coming in to cross-check. I have some issues with this review:
You did not check the licensing status of the images, and
File:3_Kgosis_Monument_Image_in_Gaborone1.jpeg gives me some trouble. {{FoP-USonly}} does not apply to statues and sculptures. I think it is only acceptable as fair use and have added new tags to that image.
It lacks thoroughness. There is still a link to a disambiguation page (requiring more source information). One of the paragraphs is a bit of a wall of text, and I would have encouraged making it less clumpy.
The reviewer's promotion was premature, and I almost wonder if this review should be annulled and the article sent back for a GA2 by an experienced reviewer. Pinging
48JCL for visibility.

Sammi Brie, I think ABG removed your comment in error when trying to revert the close. I've removed the archive template and I'll open this back up for a second opinion. (Sorry, @

Sammi Brie, my mental state is not great, but I will try to address your concerns. I've fixed the dab link and I want to know what is needed to improve the article.
