I'm not sure if the external links section has been attacked by spammers, or just consists entirely of broken or out of date links. There are multiple links to the Afropop worldwide frontpage that don't feature a Mapfumo article, Encyclopedia Britannica link is just to the frontpage, multiple broken links, and some spam I already removed.
