The usage and topic of The X-Files (season 10) is under discussion, see talk:The X-Files (miniseries) -- 70.51.200.135 ( talk) 05:38, 28 January 2016 (UTC)
The result of the move request was: Already moved by User:Gen. Quon. ( non-admin closure) © Tbhotch ™ ( en-2.5). 19:42, 6 February 2016 (UTC)
Requested move:
The X-Files Season 10 →
The X-Files Season 10 (comics) – The
FOX Channel, creator of the
The X-Files TV show, on its official website, refers to the recent
The X-Files TV 6-episode pack as the "Season 10", a title that happens to be used also by the
comics. And this can cause quite a confusion among the Wikipedia readers and editors.
More details: The term "Season 10" is no longer solely and exclusively used to refer to the X-Files comics, since the Fox Channel now refers to the new X-Files' 6 TV episodes by that name. To reflect this reality, there is already a request in the Wiki page
The X-Files (miniseries) to be renamed into "The X-Files (TV season 10)". However, confusion will be unavoidable unless the Comics' article in Wikipedia is given its own distinctive disambiguation/clarification... The move request's aim is to have the disambiguation term (comics) be added at the end of the comics article's page name
The X-Files Season 10, so it is renamed into "
The X-Files Season 10 (comics), which helps avoiding any confusion caused by the sharing of the word "Season 10" for both the comics and the TV, and it is done for everyone's convenience. --
