There needs to be citations for the samples quoted in the first paragraph. And this song doesn't sample the beat from "Push It", it samples the synth melody. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.71.127.105 ( talk) 06:29, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
randomly stumbled across this again, and saw that the reference was removed at some point again. the " push it" page still says it's sampled in this song (at the time of this writing) with no disputes; googling turned up surprisingly little in the way of people drawing that connection. to me it's fairly obvious that it's almost a direct rip, and since there appears to be no direct credit i would think some bit about "strongly resembles" would be entirely appropriate as a reference to make. thoughts? They're symbolic. The on going "game" between the two lovers.

WTF someone needs to fix up this page!!! TeePee-20.7 04:29, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of The Way I Are's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
