The article implies that the entire song in Way Out West was performed by the Avalon Boys with Laurel and Hardy lip-synching. However I'm pretty certain it's Hardy himself (who was a trained opera singer) singing the "Her name is June..." section, with both of them singing harmony in the chorus.
