Someone inserted October into the introduction as the airdate for the final episodes. So far only one source - Doctor Who Magazine - has speculated this date. The BBC has yet to announce when it will air and bear in mind this year Doctor Who is airing in the fall, so that may result in the SJA episodes airing later than usual (perhaps even around Christmas). Also, once the change was made the sentence no longer reflected the information in the cited source at the end of the sentence; when changing such info you need to make sure the source still matches - or is replaced by an updated source. 68.146.78.43 ( talk) 13:01, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

Unlike its sister shows Doctor Who and Torchwood, The Sarah Jane Adventures has just one actor mentioned in its title sequence throughout, Elisabeth Sladen, which is why I felt that additional actors being put under starring would require a source mentioning intent from the BBC and/or producers (unlike, say, Eve Myles in Torchwood). On my talk page I was given the reasoning that if the end credits characters have an "obvious cast order", then that should be sufficient and no references are needed.
However, a) this excludes John Leeson and Alexander Armstrong from the main cast regardless as they are consistently behind Joseph Millson and Juliet Cowan in the credits order (and also Mina Anwar and Ace Bhatti later on) and no one for one second thinks Alan and Chrissie are uncontroversially main cast, and b) Tommy Knight's reduced number of appearances as Luke in series 4 and 5 would still make him one of the main characters based on his position in the credits, ahead of Daniel Anthony and Anjli Mohindra. I mean, this page has a promotional image with both Tommy Knight and Sinead Michael, who debuted in series 5. TardisTybort ( talk) 21:25, 25 December 2022 (UTC)
Separately, but also related to my edit yesterday: For what purpose is there for the eight overlapping Doctor Who cast in a table, three of hose eight being from news broadcast exposition scenes, and why are non-appearances and brief mentions of characters (including a couple whose actors died in the 80s and 90s) mentioned like that on the primary page of the series? How is that passage anything to do with cast and crew, never mind a subheader? Surely the appearances of the Doctor and Jo can just be placed in sentence form in the cast section immediately above, where Nicholas Courtney as Alistair Lethbridge-Stewart is already mentioned.
