The statue of Jefferson was carved on commission by Alexander Galt (sculptor), a native Virginian who had studied in Florence. Alexander Tilloch Galt had nothing to do with it. It's probably a good idea to create a page for the sculptor, but I've redlinked the reference in the meantime.
