A fact from The Quiet Achiever appeared on Wikipedia's
Main Page in the
Did you know column on 3 May 2011 (
check views). The text of the entry was as follows:

This article repeatedly refers to the Quiet Achiever as a "racecar", but there's no indication that it ever actually participated in a race: the cross-continental trek was, from all appearances, one undertaken by this vehicle alone.
