We say this story is set during the Battle of Britain, whose article specifies July to October 1940.
We say that the sequel Fathom Five is set in 1943, two years later (we say in both book articles).
Is this story explicitly set in 1941? Does the author fictionally extend the Battle of Britain or use the term loosely? Or do we say "two years" loosely?
