Carnegie medal

A well deserved award. Her books are good. I haven't read them all but of those that I have read this was the best. The sibling "reunion" in the latter part of the novel is particularly poignant. The writing and the issues raised make this a book of interest to all readers, not just young adults. -- Derek Ross | Talk 07:07, 3 February 2011 (UTC) reply

Interview

Here and at Rosemary Sutcliff I have introduced as a source [ref name=taliesin] the 1986 "Modern Arthurian Literature" interview. I have barely utilized it --here only concerning the children/adult and the Arthurian dimensions of classifying the novel. It should be used intensively, at least concerning influences and origins. -- P64 ( talk) 00:38, 20 November 2012 (UTC) reply
