Iam absolutely loved this show when it aired , although I watched it in the late 70's. I would love to see it again! -a kid from the 70's
Parts of this article appear to have been lifted, with very little alteration, from the book "TV North" by Peter Kenter ( ISBN 1-55285-146-X) Brithgob 22:26, 19 July 2005 (UTC)
Some of this is out on DVD. http://www.frightenstein.com/ Check Amazon.com also
I think someone should state HOW they did the show. They'd set up for the Witch segments and Billy would dress up in the Witch character and tape all those segments, then they'd strike the set and build a different segment one and he'd tape all those, and so on.
It airs now airs on Space: The Imgaination Station. User:Studio60OnTheSunsetStrip
I have noticed this show now plays frequently on the Canadian "Drive-In Classics" channel. However, it appears to have parts cut out of it--for example, I watched it today and most of the "Wolfman" segment (my favourite part of the show), where he plays the funky music to the psychadelic lights with Igor dancing, was cut out. Does anyone know if this is for copyright reasons, or just time-editing? Hiddekel 05:55, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
It currently airs on "Space" (cable channel) on Shaw Cable at 5:00AM MTS. It also does not include the aforementioned Wolfman dance scenes. I have the same quesion, hence why I added this comment. Anyone know why? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ghall22 ( talk • contribs) 10:19, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
This show is currently being broadcast in Canada on the TVLand network. I never watched it in its original run and only heard about it in the 1990s. Smith & Smith must have borrowed heavily from it for the hotel scenes in their show; it's not so surprising, since they, too, were involved with CHCH. Grandma Roses 11:14, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
Does anyone know if Count Frightenstein really is the 13th son of Dracula? If so, where does this information come from? I never heard it before. Thank you. Dory Campbell. ````
Where did the animals that appeared on Doctor Pet-Vet come from? Were they loaned from local animal shelters or breeders or what? Nutster ( talk) 08:56, 5 October 2021 (UTC)
