So I haven't seen much about "Dolly" being a character or maybe it just means Dorothy and if not, I haven't seen other mentions of the character in synposes I've seen. Isangtaosamundo ( talk) 05:26, 25 February 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, Dolly is a nickname for Dorothy, and they must be the same character, since they are both described as Harry's girlfriend. Very often, vocal scores and libretti did not match exactly in these older pieces. -- Ssilvers ( talk) 13:03, 25 February 2022 (UTC)
