Hi, This process is all a bit confusing, hopefully this the correct procedure. I have rewritten the article on The Embers to remove the "advertising" feel. I hope this is now satisfactory.
With reference to "This article is about a subject which may not be notable enough to be included on Wikipedia." I do not believe this is so for a couple of reasons. Firstly, the article was written as a result of updating the National Campus Band Competition to include The Embers as the current winners of this competition. A large number of the winning bands have links to Wikipedia pages. As a winner of this National competition I cant see why The Embers should be excluded. Secondly, The Embers have played the Falls Festival twice, again the majority of bands listed on this site have Wikipedia pages. Again I don't see how The Embers could be discriminated against while others are allowed. In Australian musical terms winning the national campus band competition and playing the Falls Festival are both very noteworthy achievements. Hope this helps. Humphkt 14:35, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
This page should be a disambiguation page because of a Carolinas Beach music band also named The Embers which has been around since 1958. Stereorock ( talk) 18:42, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on

after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{

to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
