It needs making clear that the TV writers are not the author of this fantasy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.31.72.86 ( talk) 03:26, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
In the In Meereen section, the text about Drogon coming to rescue Daenerys currently states, "Daenerys takes Missandei's hand and closes her eyes, seemingly accepting her fate, when Drogon is heard roaring nearby." I don't think that the "seemingly accepting her fate" part is accurate; I took that moment as her summoning Drogon. And as seen by this Vanity Fair source, this Slate source, this Paste, this The Daily News New York source, this The Plain Dealer source, and this Yahoo! Celebrity source, so did others. By contrast, this The News Herald (Panama City) source states, "Seeing the numbers in the Sons of the Harpy’s favor, Daenerys takes hold of personal assistant Missandei’s hand and either prepares for her death or telepathically summons Drogon to her aid." Given that there are more sources interpreting the moment as her summoning Drogon than there are sources interpreting the moment as her preparing for her death (yes, go ahead and Google it for confirmation like did), I think that the "seemingly accepting her fate, when Drogon is heard roaring nearby" text should state "seemingly summoning Drogon; moments later, Drogon is heard roaring nearby." Or something like that. And we should then add two references beside it. Alternatively for that section, we could add a type of "either summoning Drogon or accepting her fate" wording, or not mention either, and leave the Critical reception section to note it and go into detail about it. According to IMDb, this is also the final appearance of Kerry Ingram ( Shireen Baratheon). Renard Migrant ( talk) 13:31, 27 November 2019 (UTC)
