It seems to me that Evelyn Escalera has not really been a Cover Girl for that long, as the 1996 album "Satisfy" only credits Michelle Valentine as a vocalist, and there were no pictures of the girls at all in the CD cover. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 196.40.10.248 ( talk • contribs) 00:23, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
~ Evelyn Escalera did not participate on the Satisfy album. She was still a member of the group but was on a hiatis for personal reasons. She returned shortly after the release of "I Am Woman". But has always been a member of the group.

An article about Sal Abbatiello, I think sourced from Dance Music Authority magazine, says
Meanwhile, the Cover Girls bio page doesn't mention Valentine at all. It just says

~ Evelyn Escalera sang lead vocals on "Funk Boutique". Evelyn Escalera was orginally brought in as the lead singer after Angel left. But then Michelle Valentine was brought in when Margo Urban left and Michelle Valentine and Evelyn Escalera were both considered Co-Lead Vocalists.
