There is a link at the bottom of the page to awards - can someone add the *real* awards the novel has won to the awards section? Also I know it was nominated as one of Time's list of the 100 Greatest Novels since 1926
C. is not a drug, as originally written in the article, but a method to influence the brain - it is described at length in the Gary chapter; Gary and Denise visit a road show by the company developing the method. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.217.68.197 ( talk) 21:36, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
St. Jude is in Kansas? Northeast Kansas? It has been a while since I read the book, but I don't think the state is ever named, is it? Also, the phrase "one last Christmas" (the title of a section of the novel) was modified to "one last Christmas together" in quotation marks. If this is a direct quotation from the novel, it should be cited; if not, the quotation marks should be removed. -- ShelfSkewed Talk 14:38, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
On the eve of launch of his new novel Freedom, I have spruced up a bit of the plot-summary. Interesting to note that Franzen chose to release the book on his Birthday: well, this is my gift to him - kinda like Gary's gift with the drill-bit to Alfred.```` —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.224.130.54 ( talk) 21:12, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
I am incredibly depressed by the quality of the article we have, the fact no wikiproject has taken the time to rate this as important, and just the fact that the talk page is labelled to the article for [The Corrections (Band)]. I don't know about how to get a wikiproject's attention, nor how to relabel the talk page, but a good place to start with a resource for the plot summary is the edit that [96.224.130.54] made as mentioned above, a link to his revision for quick reference is http://en.wikipedia.org/?title=The_Corrections&oldid=379847964 Oakpack4 ( talk) 00:36, 9 March 2011 (UTC)
