If one examines any copy of any edition of this book, it is clear that "1946–present" is part of its title. It therefore should be part of the title of the article here. Any dissent?

One other point: Cable coverage (including both that addition to the title and I believe entries for channels) began with the 1995 (or was it '94 or '96?) edition, not 2007. I moved the article to include "...1946-Present" in the title because, along with what Tbrittreid said, Ballantine Book's website lists the book with 1946-Present in the title.
