I've been attempting to improve this article over the past few days, and have now pretty well finished apart from the Literary Allusions section, which I have not really touched. While the list may well be accurate, and indeed interesting, it appears to be original literary criticism. I have not been able to locate any reliable source for the list as a whole, nor indeed for the individual items within it. Even if someone were to spend time going through the novel and identifying each of the allusions with a specific quote and page number, it seems to me that that would still be impermissible original research. In the circumstances, I think that the section should be deleted in its entirety, but before doing that I thought it would be worth asking here for a second opinion. Sadads, do you have any thoughts?
