This is a rough estimate based on a reliable source of people who behave backed the Beach boys live, please don't delete this if more sources are needed so be it but it should not be deleted completely. Beachboys379 ( talk) 21:43, 8 December 2014 (UTC)Beachboys379
Should we explicitly state that there's the band "The Beach Boys", and the corporate/legal entity "The Beach Boys" and exactly what the meaningful difference is? Or should that go in the main article?
Do the gold and silver colors in the chart mean anything? If so, what? — User:ACupOfCoffee @ 16:59, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
He contributed to their '89 album and you can find videos of him performing live with the group, as well as promotional music videos featuring him, at least up to the late 80's. I'm not sure where he was in the early 90's, but could you not consolidate the entire '83-'96 period into one section of the timeline? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aardvark114 ( talk • contribs) 01:04, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
Please make sure that any musician that has been added to the page has a reliable source, directly linking them to the current band or tour itself. NOTHING HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY NAMED! However, certain hints are being leaked by the band as to who will be touring. Examples: A February 14th posting on Facebook confirming John Stamos, a picture of Matt Jardine rehearsing with the band, Scott Bennett and Jeff Foskett on stage with the band at Dodgers Stadium, and Nelson Bragg rehearsing in behind Al Jardine in the studio. Those are valid sources! Gsgeek540 ( talk) 02:15, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
A couple users have brought up the John Stamos debate on this and The Beach Boys 50th Anniversary Reunion Tour with the question of "should he be listed as an additional musician?" I honestly have fought to keep him on both pages because he and the band have both indicated that he will be apart of the touring band at select shows, and all sources lead to that. There is no question about the fact that he has performed with the band thus far. However, the rumor mill is going around and around saying "that was his only show" or "only New York" or only here or there. Unfortunately, the same people with those rumors are unable to provide a valid source and will just remove him because they "heard it" somewhere and remove the current source up there. I think until there is a source saying otherwise, Stamos should remain on both pages as an additional musician. If a source can not be found, and, at the end of the tour, he only does perform the one show, we can note that appropriately on both pages but until then, the sources speak for themselves.
I did update a source on one of the pages from Stamos performing Forever to the source of him actually saying he will be involved in the tour. Like i said, the question now isn't did he perform but rather will he have involvement and this source better fits the debate, with all do respect.
With that being said, any unsourced removals of Stamos from either page will be reverted back and directed to the talk page of each respective page, as per Wikipedia:Compromise and be debated there.

As posted on other page by Andrew G. Doe, special guest section for Torrence, Stamos, California Saga, etc and if he continues to perform, hwe move him back Gsgeek540 ( talk) 20:29, 18 June 2012 (UTC) If a civil compromise cannot be reached within 7 days, an arbitration request will be made as per Wikipedia:Arbitration/Policy. Please can anyone make a timeline, like in ALL other articles? See Fleetwood Mac, Guns n Roses, Aerosmith etc etc etc. Timeline with colors and everyone can see when who was in the band. I mean this should be an encyclopedia and now its very hard to find the information what I need.
By the way, in the Beach Boys article there is no section with "Band members" and this line up site is almost impossible to find. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.116.242.76 ( talk) 05:13, 19 January 2013 (UTC)
That chart looks like it's saying that Brian was touring with the band circa 1972. This is incorrect as far as I know. Santa Claus of the Future ( talk) 20:27, 20 December 2014 (UTC)
==Brian was on Stars and Stripes Vol. 1.== Brian was on Stars and Stripes Vol. 1 but It shows he stopoed with the beach boys in 95 but it i beleive it was until Carls death in 1998.
