I was wondering why there are two separate pages on the Ark and Dove as historically they are usually always seen together, as they traveled together. Both pages have basically the same information. In fact it looks like some of the Ark entry was copied and pasted into the Dove. Wouldn't it save space and confusion to combine the two pages? The Ark and Dove Adventures. -- Lady Meg ( talk) 20:58, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
I would oppose the merger because the Maryland Dove is not in fact a replica of the original Dove but rather a reconstruction of a small trading ship of roughly the same size. In many respects the "Maryland Dove" is a big ship in miniature and probably not at all what the original Dove looked like in terms of rig. I am planning to create a separate article specifically for the Dove as I believe all three ships deserve their own page. Shuilung ( talk) 18:42, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
Is there any reason why this article is The Ark (ship) rather than Ark (ship)? I am not seeing any evidence that the formal name included "The". When last added to the article text no references were given. Davidships ( talk) 22:33, 3 January 2022 (UTC)
