Could we have some sources for this bizarre claim? Thermaland 15:54, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
I reverted the edit by 75.108.121.187 with the apologetic treatment of the plot hole. First, it's OR, secondly, it's beside the point. If Moran knew that Holmes was alive and only was unclear regarding his whereabouts, Holmes' statement "It was all-important that I was thought dead" would make no sense.
(Admittedly, the first paragraph of the Inconsistencies section is already bordering on OR as well, but I think with some goodwill one can accept it as common sense statement.) -- Syzygy ( talk) 10:36, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
Mark Gatiss confirmed recently that the first episode of BBC's Sherlock will be based off of this story... can we add that to Adaptations yet or does it need to be aired first? 75.156.56.50 ( talk) 04:53, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
