Accuracy

The definition may not be correct - eg see A Short History of Greek Mathematics, James Gow, p62 as one example - gives usage as referring to "groups of 4" - does this term actually have a specific meaning? or is it just untranslated greek term for "set of four".

At the least this requires greek sources for verification- not modern sources speculating on meaning. Imgaril ( talk) 04:41, 31 October 2011 (UTC) reply

A tetrad is not a tetractys!

A tetrad is four of something, like a quartet, while a tetractys is a triangular pattern of ten (10) elements. If someone looks up tetrad and gets redirected to tetractys he will be confused. The redirection tetrad -> tetractys is wrong and harmful. Please undo it. ¨¨¨¨ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.251.27.165 ( talk) 14:31, 27 March 2013 (UTC) reply
