The subject is distinguished professor at the City University of New York (criterion 5). He is also chair of health policy and management department at the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy (also meets criterion 5). He is chief specialty editor (for public health and nutrition) for Frontiers of Public Health (meets criterion 8). He is also a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine (meets criterion 3).
