Francis Greenway's Burial

A local legend is that Francis Greenway (the convict architect) was buried in Tarro cemetery. A grass fire in about 1975-76 destroyed many grave markers and other details. The remaining cemetery has been significantly vandalized since the 1970s. Quarter sessions road was widened in the late 1970s or early 1980s at the expense of graves on the eastern side of the cemetery. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.49.200.122 ( talk) 00:18, 20 January 2010 (UTC) reply
